Magic Night
Look who's in trouble. It's Daffy Duck.He's on Time-out.
Nah, I don't know what the heck he's doing. It just looked funny to me. The kiddies took pictures with bugs, tweety and daffy. When they were done, their host/escort, or whatever you call them told the characters to put their heads on the wall. Maybe they were going to tip over? I don't know.
I was a chaperone for the kiddies at church last Friday night for their annual Hallelujah Jubilee. Church groups are offered discounted prices for a night while Christian bands perform inside the park.
Funny how we were there on a church outing when we had a little celebrity siting, The One Who Sees God...on TV. We were on our way up the little hill that goes up to Viper when I heard Sheena scream my name behind me. She said she saw Joan of Arc. I asked, Joan of Arcadia, Amber Tamblyn? She said jumping up and down, yeah that's her. I turned around and went down the hill to find her. I didn't know what I was going to do when I saw her. I just wanted to make sure that it was really her. I think it was.
Anyway, the night was fun. Kiddies enjoyed themselves. The oldies, myself included were pooped at 10pm. While they rode Goliath, the hommie, Bill and I chilled on the Carousel couch and rode it 10 times in a row. Meanwhile, Sheena went to her car and slept.
Can't hang like these kiddies anymore.
Saturday, had a Day-O-Fun for Bev's birthday at the park. Another example i'm getting old, my body ached as I walked up and down the work stairs. And my arms feel pained and are covered with petechaie, lttle purple-pink dots on my forearms from playing volleyball. It was fun to play again, though.
Waterballoon are always fun. Waterballon fights are always better.
The Benchwarmers- Fantone, Leia, Kay, Randy, Anna and I went to watch Tin, James, Pat and Ja play ball. Check out our team photos on Anna's Blog.I love how we amuse ourselves.
Later that night, Leia, Fantone and I went to Ate Cyn and Gary's Engagement party. Who here has ever been to a real engagement party? Not I, nor Leia or Fantone. There's usually an announcement of the wedding and then the wedding. No in between. Party was fun, a precursor of what the wedding will be like. Loved your casins. Ate Cyn's cousins made up songs, a la Cile all night long.
Yay! Finally!
Later, later that night...salami or was it pastrami on frech bread at the apt. After work, Seong brought over some yummy bread dessert.
Who wants to move in?

Oh if Culver City weren't so far from Thousand Oaks, I'd be first to volunteer as the nth roommate.
