Vocab lesson

Just at work and learning some new words.

***WARNING! Pictures are graphic.***

1. pannus or panniculus- a medical term for a hanging flap of tissue

2. rugae- a term used in anatomy that refers to a series of ridges produced by folding of the wall of an organ

3. carbuncle- an abscess larger than a boil, usually with one or more openings draining pus onto the skin.

Ah, the things we do at work to pass the time.
